The Pink Picnic is set to return to Peel Park this summer as Salford Pride celebrates 15 years of Pride in Salford with one of its biggest line-ups to date.
The volunteer-run charity has announced a packed headline bill for the 2026 event, featuring Boney M, Kyran Thrax, Paige Three, The Cheeky Girls, Big Brovaz, Booty Luv and Baby D.
Salford Pride was founded in 2011 to organise the first Peel Park Pink Picnic. The event was officially renamed The Pink Picnic in 2017, before the organisation itself became Salford Pride in 2018 as it expanded its work beyond a single annual event to support LGBTQ+ communities year-round.
The organisation became a registered charity in 2020 and continues to be run entirely by volunteers and a Board of Trustees, with no paid roles across the charity.
Founded on the principles of inclusion, equality and visibility, Salford Pride says The Pink Picnic remains at the heart of its mission to create a welcoming space for LGBTQ+ people, allies, families and friends. The annual celebration has become a staple of Salford’s community calendar, bringing together entertainment, community groups, local organisations and support services in Peel Park.
Scott Turzański, Head of Marketing and Brand at Salford Pride, said:
“Celebrating 15 years of Pride in Salford feels really special.
“The Pink Picnic has always been about community first. It’s a chance to spend time with people who get it, to celebrate who we are, support each other, and create memories in a space that feels safe, joyful, and genuinely inclusive.
“And with this year’s headliners, we can’t wait to bring Peel Park to life.”
Alongside the live entertainment, visitors can expect community stalls, outreach organisations and activities throughout the day, while local businesses are also being encouraged to show visible support for LGBTQ+ communities across Salford and beyond.
