Police appeal to trace wanted Salford man after escape from lawful custody

Greater Manchester Police have launched an appeal to help trace a Salford man who is wanted after escaping from lawful custody.

Officers are searching for Muiz Olatunji, born on 6 November 2000, who is of no fixed abode.

He is described as a Black male of medium build with black Afro hair and is approximately 5ft 10in tall.

Police believe Olatunji has links to Glasgow, Scotland, as well as Greater Manchester, and are urging members of the public to remain vigilant.

Anyone who sees Olatunji is urged not to approach him. Instead, they should contact police immediately.

Anyone with information about his whereabouts is asked to call Greater Manchester Police on 101, quoting the appeal, or contact the independent charity Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.

In an emergency, or if Olatunji is seen, always dial 999.
