Police have launched an appeal for information after several parcels were reportedly stolen from a building in Salford city centre.

The incident happened shortly before midnight on 7 May at the Quebec Building on Bury Street, where a number of packages left by a delivery company were allegedly opened and taken.

Officers investigating the commercial burglary have now released an image of a woman they would like to speak to, believing she may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Greater Manchester Police are urging anyone who recognises the woman, or who may have information about the incident, to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police via 101 or through the Live Chat service, quoting reference number CRI/06FF/0012148/25.

Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.

Police say any information, no matter how small, could help with their ongoing investigation.
