The utterly amazing Monton Voices Community Choir are preparing to bring an afternoon of music, refreshments and community spirit to Eccles this summer, all while raising money for a Salford charity supporting vulnerable people across the city.
The choir’s Summer Sunday Concert will take place on Sunday June 7 at 3pm at St Peter & St Paul’s RC Church on Park Road, Eccles, with proceeds supporting Salford Loaves and Fishes.
Organisers say the event will feature live vocal performances, refreshments and a raffle, with adult tickets priced at £5 and children admitted free.
Salford Loaves and Fishes has supported homeless and vulnerable people in the city for more than 30 years, providing practical help including food, clothing, advice services and social support for people facing poverty, isolation and homelessness.
Monton Voices Community Choir has become a well known part of the local community over the past 25 years, regularly performing at charity events and community fundraisers across Salford. The choir has previously supported causes including The Christie and St Ann’s Hospice through performances and fundraising concerts.
In a post promoting the event, organisers said: “We are looking forward to entertaining you all and raising vital funds for Salford Loaves and Fishes.”
The concert will be held at St Peter & St Paul’s RC Church, Park Road, Eccles, M6 8JR. Tickets are available through choir members or on the door, with both cash and card accepted.
