A Manchester-based comedian is set to launch a brand-new podcast next month that promises laughs, nostalgia and fascinating conversations about the things people love most.
The Favourites Pod, hosted by award-winning comedian Justina Seselskaite, launches on 1 July 2026 and will feature comedians, creatives and cultural figures discussing everything from their favourite films and books to cherished memories, guilty pleasures and niche obsessions.
Recorded in Manchester, the long-form interview podcast takes a different approach from traditional celebrity interviews, focusing instead on the personal interests, recommendations and stories that have shaped its guests’ lives.
Described as a “feel-good interview podcast”, the series aims to uncover the passions and experiences behind some of the UK’s most exciting creative voices.
Justina, a working-class immigrant woman who describes herself as having “an unhealthy interest in other people’s opinions”, said the conversations often lead to unexpected stories and surprising insights.
The first series will feature a range of high-profile guests from the worlds of comedy, entertainment and the arts, including Edinburgh Comedy Award nominees and winners, television comedians, viral internet personalities and an Olivier Award-nominated playwright.

Confirmed guests include comedian and character performer Joe Kent-Walters, stand-up comedian Molly McGuinness, broadcaster and commentator Jack Nicholls, and comedian Jain Edwards.
The podcast will explore topics including comedy, culture, creativity, nostalgia, pop culture and everyday life, with each guest sharing their favourite things and the stories behind them.
Justina is no stranger to the comedy circuit. She is an award-winning comedian and winner of the British Comedy Guide Talent Awards, as well as a finalist in the prestigious So You Think You’re Funny? competition. She has also been shortlisted for the BBC New Comedy Awards.
Her comedy work has featured on BBC iPlayer, BBC Radio Manchester and the streaming platform NextUp. Over recent years she has supported a number of established comedians, including Katie Norris, Hayley Ellis, Nina Gilligan, Mark Bittlestone, Daisy Earl and Molly McGuinness.
The new podcast launches on all major podcast platforms on Wednesday 1 July 2026.
Speaking about her comedy, fellow comedian Kerry Godliman has described Justina as “very funny”, while Micky Flanagan called her “brilliant”. Comedy website Chortle praised her “cheerily engaging presence”.
With Manchester continuing to build its reputation as one of the UK’s leading creative and comedy hubs, The Favourites Pod looks set to add another distinctive local voice to the city’s thriving podcast scene.
