Irlam Live celebrates 10 years with star-studded weekend line-up this May

Salford’s most popular community festival is preparing to mark a major milestone this spring, as Irlam Live returns for its 10th anniversary celebrations with a packed three-day programme of live music.

The much-loved event will take place from Friday 29th May to Sunday 31st May 2026 in Prince’s Park, Irlam, bringing together a mix of tribute acts, live performers and dance favourites for what organisers say will be their biggest year yet.

Since its launch, Irlam Live has grown from a small local gathering into a firm fixture on the region’s events calendar, drawing crowds from across Greater Manchester and beyond with its family-friendly atmosphere and wide-ranging musical appeal.

Friday night (29th May) will open the celebrations, with gates from 4pm and a line-up packed with crowd-pleasing tributes. Festivalgoers can expect hits from tribute artists including Oasis, The Smiths, Lady Gaga, Arctic Monkeys, ABBA, Erasure, Elvis Presley, Eminem, Pink, Annie Lennox, Ed Sheeran and Avril Lavigne—setting the tone for a weekend of nostalgia and singalong favourites.

Saturday (30th May) sees the focus shift to soul, disco and party classics, with gates opening at midday. The bill features Sister Sledge performing live with Kathy Sledge, alongside Boney M, Odyssey and the American Four Tops. Dancefloor energy will continue with performances from Flo Rida, Twisted Soul and more, promising a full day of feel-good anthems.

The festival concludes on Sunday (31st May) with a celebration of dance and club music, again starting from midday. Artists set to appear include Matt Goss, A1, Alison Limerick, Let Loose and Bradley McIntosh of S Club, as well as the Cuban Brothers, Ultrabeat, The Blackout Crew, Karen Parry and others.

Organisers say the 10th anniversary event is designed to reflect everything the festival has become known for over the past decade—bringing together generations of music fans in a welcoming, community-focused setting.

With its mix of iconic sounds, lively atmosphere and strong local following, Irlam Live’s landmark year is expected to be one of its biggest yet.
