Looking for something to do this weekend? The popular Eccles Country Fair is back on Saturday and promises a morning packed with family fun, food, entertainment and community spirit.

Now in its ninth year, the event will take place at Eccles Sixth Form College on Chatsworth Road from 10am to 1pm on Saturday, 6 June.

There will be plenty to keep visitors entertained, including a bouncy castle, live music, arts and crafts, community stalls, candy floss, ice creams and a BBQ. For the grown-ups, there’s also a Prosecco Tent where you can relax while enjoying the festivities.

One of the biggest attractions is expected to be the college’s Animal Park, which will be opening its gates to the public for the event. It’s always a hit with younger visitors and offers a chance to meet some of the animals cared for by students.

The fair has become a popular annual event in Eccles, bringing together local groups, charities, businesses and residents for a few hours of fun and fundraising.

Entry is just £2 for adults, while children get in free, making it an affordable day out for families.
