Salford neighbourhood officers are appealing for information following a burglary at a city centre apartment block.

Officers from Salford’s Neighbourhood Crime Team (NCT) are investigating a burglary reported at Fresh Apartments on Chapel Street and have released an image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their enquiries.

Police have not disclosed further details about the circumstances of the burglary but are urging anyone who recognises the individual, or who may have information that could help the investigation, to come forward.

A spokesperson for Greater Manchester Police said the force is keen to identify and speak to the man as part of ongoing enquiries into the incident. Similar public appeals have previously been issued by GMP as officers seek assistance from residents in identifying people linked to burglary investigations in Salford.

Anyone with information is asked to contact PC Parsons via email at 05782@gmp.police.uk or by calling 0161 856 5272.

Police are also encouraging members of the public to share the appeal in the hope of identifying the man and progressing the investigation.
