Appeal Issued After Death of 80-Year-Old Man in Swinton

Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace the family of a man from Swinton following his death.

Jack Cordwell, 80, sadly passed away at his home on High Bank Road on Wednesday 7 May.

Greater Manchester Police say there are not believed to be any suspicious circumstances surrounding his death.

Officers are now trying to locate Mr Cordwell’s next of kin and are asking anyone with information which could assist to come forward.

Anyone who may have information regarding Jack Cordwell’s family is asked to contact the Police Coroner’s Office in Bolton on 0161 856 4687.
