TalkTalk Business will remain in Salford after signing a seven-year lease at Exchange Quay, relocating from Soapworks in May.

The firm will move its 136 staff into 10,492 sq ft at Building 1, marking a key step after its demerger from TalkTalk Group earlier this year. The short-distance move is expected to cause minimal disruption to employees.

The new ground-floor office is designed for hybrid working, featuring flexible collaboration areas, Teams-enabled meeting rooms and a Cisco Meraki demo suite.

Meanwhile, TalkTalk Group is reducing its space at Soapworks, enabling a major new deal with PHMG.

Chief executive Ruth Kennedy said staying in Salford was important, with the new site offering improved space for collaboration and showcasing technology.
