A man has been charged with a string of serious offences following a robbery in Salford and an arrest at Manchester Airport.
Kaelun Howe (30/07/03), of no fixed abode, appeared before Manchester and Salford Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday 28 April after being charged with multiple offences.
The charges include two counts of robbery, two counts of burglary dwelling and theft with no violence, two counts of possession of an offensive weapon, one count of attempted burglary dwelling with intent to steal, one count of criminal damage, one count of possessing a firearm with intent to cause fear or violence, and one count of possessing an imitation firearm.
The charges follow an incident on Liverpool Street, Salford, on Friday 24 April, where a business was targeted and a quantity of cash was stolen. A suspected BB gun was recovered at the scene, and no injuries were reported.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police arrested Howe at Manchester Airport after he was identified as a suspect and allegedly attempted to leave the country.
Following his court appearance, Howe has been remanded in custody and is due to appear next at Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday 2 June 2026.
Police enquiries into the incident remain ongoing.
