It looks like there is going to be another busy Bank Holiday weekend on the cards across Salford and Eccles, with a packed programme of live music, community events and social gatherings taking place from Friday through to Sunday. Venues across the city are hosting everything from tribute acts and themed club nights to craft markets, workshops and family-friendly activities, giving everyone plenty of options to make the most of the long weekend.
The weather, however, may have other ideas. Forecasts suggest typical early May conditions, with temperatures generally sitting between around 10°C and 15°C and a noticeable chance of showers across the weekend. Showery spells are expected at times, particularly across Saturday and Sunday, although there should still be some brighter intervals in between. It is best to keep an eye on the local weather reports for those outdoor events.
Despite the mixed outlook, the milder spring temperatures and extended daylight hours mean it remains a good weekend to explore what’s on locally, with a wide variety of indoor and outdoor events ensuring there is something to suit all interests.
