Appeal launched to locate wanted man from Salford

Police are appealing for the public’s help to trace a wanted man from Salford after he failed to appear at court earlier this week.

Ryan Stewart, born 18 July 1984, is wanted by Greater Manchester Police after allegedly failing to attend court on 20 May 2026.

Officers say Stewart is known to have links to several areas across Salford, including Salford Precinct, Weaste, Eccles, Little Hulton and Walkden.

Police are now urging anyone who may have seen Stewart, or who has information on his whereabouts, to come forward.

Anyone with information is asked to contact police on 0161 856 5445. Information can also be passed anonymously to the independent charity Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
