Seven Face Court After Early Morning Drug Warrants Across Salford & Greater Manchester

Seven people have been charged following a series of early morning warrants carried out yesterday by Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Organised Crime Group. Six warrants were executed across Greater Manchester on Wednesday 20 May, leading to the arrest of seven individuals. All seven have now been charged with a range of drug-related offences and are due to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court today (Thursday 21 May).The charges are as follows:

  • Shaun Dennison, 41, of Armitage Avenue, Little Hulton, has been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs, concerned in the supply of Class A drugs, concerned in the supply of Class B drugs, and money laundering. He was previously charged on 29 March as part of the same investigation with concerned in the exportation of Class A drugs, possession with intent to supply Class A and B drugs, and money laundering.
  • Daniel Cunningham, 41, of Ann Lane, Wigan, has been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and concerned in the supply of Class A drugs.
  • Gary Talbot, 42, of Wharfdale Road, Reddish, has been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and concerned in the supply of Class B drugs.
  • Natasha Dennison, 37, of Coniston Avenue, Little Hulton, has been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs and money laundering.
  • Cameron Clarke, 24, of Sedgley Drive, Bolton, Michaela Unsworth, 35, of Chaddock Lane, Worsley, and Jason Huskie, 35, of Maylorlowe Avenue, Brinnington, have each been charged with conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

A GMP spokesperson confirmed that the operation forms part of ongoing efforts by the Serious Organised Crime Group to tackle the supply of illegal drugs across the region.All seven defendants are expected to appear before magistrates at Manchester Magistrates’ Court later today.
