Police have arrested seven people after a series of coordinated drugs raids linked to Salford and wider Greater Manchester.
Officers from Greater Manchester Police’s Serious Organised Crime Group executed seven warrants across the region, including addresses in Salford, as part of an ongoing investigation into the suspected supply of Class A drugs.
The operation saw five men aged 42, 41, 41, 35 and 24 arrested alongside two women aged 37 and 35. All remain in custody for questioning on suspicion of conspiracy to supply Class A drugs.

Police say the raids are part of continuing efforts to tackle organised crime networks operating in Salford and surrounding areas, with officers targeting locations believed to be connected to the movement and supply of drugs across Greater Manchester.
Detective Inspector Alex Brown said: “Today’s warrants are another example of that determination. Our officers carried out a series of coordinated strikes targeting individuals and locations we suspect to be central to the supply of Class A drugs.
“We will not allow organised criminals to profit from exploiting vulnerable people, and we will keep taking action to protect our communities.”

Greater Manchester Police confirmed enquiries remain ongoing following the arrests.
